Happy Black History Month From The Square

Happy February! The month of February is observed as Black History Month. This month, we honor and celebrate the accomplishments by African Americans throughout history.

We would like to highlight our black-owned and operated businesses here at the Square!

As many of you know, we welcomed The Confetti Cake Bar to the Square this year! Teresa Thomas has been in the bakery industry for 20 years. She has a talent for beautiful, homemade sweet treats. We were so excited to welcome this family-owned and black-owned bakery to the Square in 2021.

Pure chocolate by Jinji was founded in 2012 and has been a staple of the Square for years. She offers all gluten free and dairy free handmade pralines, barks, fudges, truffles and many more novelty creations.

Neopol Savory Smokery owner Barbara Lahnstein and her son Dorian use all natural, primarily locally grown ingredients smoked in high-quality woods. Barbra and Dorian have surrounded themselves with a smart and brilliant crew who have adopted the new brand of cuisine they have created during the past 20 years of making it. The Neopol crew shares a passion for cuisine, creating new and exciting menu items.

Epiphany Lab has been at the Square for a little over a year. As a young church, its leaders aspire to put their roots deep in the city to make strides in community service and discipleship. Their vision to positively impact their community can be felt through their fierce dedication to serve.

The founders of The Pharmacy at Belvedere Square are pharmacists with over 30 years of combined retail and long-term care pharmacy expertise. They are adamant about re-igniting the sector and demonstrating what pharmacy and pharmacists are all about.
